The imprisoned

The imprisoned by Joseph Kessel ... novel "The imprisoned" written by Joseph Kessel, the French of Russian origins, after his first wife Sandy was infected, then her death, with tuberculosis, but here he abandons the vast spaces he was accustomed to in his other novels like "The flight crew" and "The knights", to focus on the lives of individuals from high society whom that deadly disease led to a tuberculosis clinic in the Swiss Alps.
