The victorious sun

Author's name: Professor Anna Marie Dar Publisher: Al-Takween for Publishing and Distribution Year of publication: 2016 Literary classification: Study of the effects of the great Islamic poet Jalal al-Din Rumi About the book: This book is the fruit of a forty-year dialogue with Mawlana, a very personal dialogue, and from here Rumi will be represented not as the Sufi sheikh whose poetry bears the tone of new Platonic contemplations but as a highly sensitive human being. The light of divine truth with its beauty and majesty illuminated himself through the person of Shams al-Din Tabrizi, and as this light surrounded him and this fire matured him, Rumi saw the world with a new light.
