Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry or Amalaki, is an Indian fruit rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, widely used in traditional Indian medicine (Ayurveda) for its benefits for hair (strengthening, lengthening, shine) and skin and overall health (immunity, heart health, digestion, liver detoxification). It is usually used in powdered form mixed with water or oils, or as hair oil (Amla oil) to promote hair health and combat hair loss.
