Basic Life Support (BLS) Course, including Saudi Heart Association fees

The course is offered in a blended format, consisting of both theoretical and practical components.

Theoretical Component: Recorded online videos available on the Saudi Heart Association website.

Practical Component: In-person training at the center for one to one and a half hours.

1. Accreditation Body

The course is accredited by the Saudi Heart Association.

2. Course Duration and Language

• Course Duration: Daily at 3:30 PM, except Fridays and Saturdays.

• Course Language: Arabic or English, depending on the participants' needs.

3. Course Objectives

1. To identify life-threatening emergencies.

2. To apply high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques for adults, children, and infants.

3. To understand the importance of proper ventilation and the early use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).

4. To manage cases of choking and airway obstruction.

5. To perform multi-person CPR as an active member of the medical team.

4. Target Groups and Training Methodology

• Target Groups:

1. Physicians, nurses, and paramedics.

2. Students in medical and health-related fields.

3. All healthcare practitioners and those interested in developing their emergency skills.

• Training Methodology:

1. Simplified theoretical lectures.

2. Practical exercises using the latest equipment.

3. Group discussions and the study of real medical cases.

4. Practical and theoretical assessment.

5. Certification:

• Successful participants will receive a certificate and card accredited by the Saudi Heart Association, valid for two years.

6. Registration Details and Course Fees

• Attendance: Participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the course start time.

• Course Fees: After discount, 249 Saudi Riyals (including tax and Saudi Heart Association fees).
