Emina Rwanda enjoys an ideal environment for coffee cultivation, due to its high altitude and regular rainfall, and its land's volcanic soil with organic structure, and the availability of huge Arabica. All of this contributes to bringing out the best in coffee elements. Most of the harvests produced in Rwanda come from small farmers, and recent statistics estimate that there are nearly half a million Rwandan farmers working on agricultural areas not exceeding one hectare per family. Coffee is cultivated in most parts of the country, especially along Lake Kivu and specifically in the southern province where Rwandan farmers organize themselves into cooperatives, and participate in central mill services or locally known as washing stations.
