Product description
We offer the service of slaughtering a charity sheep and distributing it to the poor and needy in Mecca Al-Mukarramah. Immediate slaughter after requesting the service, with all details of the order provided upon request. Slaughtering a charity sheep is one of the greatest doors of goodness that Islam encourages, as it is a cause for lifting calamities, bringing sustenance, and sharing the joy of food with the needy. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Protect the fire even with half a date" — so how about someone who offers a complete sacrifice for the sake of Allah Almighty?
When to slaughter a charity sheep?
- When feeling the need of the poor.
- To ward off calamities and illness.
- When new blessings from Allah such as success, a job, or a newborn occur.
Any time of the year without restriction of time or place.
How to slaughter and distribute:
- The sacrifice is slaughtered with the intention of charity.
- Its meat is distributed entirely or a large part of it to the poor and needy.
- Family members can take a small portion if they wish.
The virtue of slaughtering a charity sheep:
- Brings the servant closer to Allah عز وجل.
- Relieves the distress of the needy.
- A cause for blessing in wealth, family, and children.
- It is from ongoing charity whose effect remains.
Dua at the time of slaughtering a charity sheep:
Say during slaughter: "In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest," then slaughter. Repeat: "In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest." This is what the Prophet ﷺ used to do.
Place your foot on the side of the neck, then hold its head, and slaughter with your right hand — this is the Sunnah.
If it is a sacrifice, say: "On behalf of so-and-so," or "on behalf of me and my family."
If it is an Aqiqah, say: "On behalf of my son so-and-so," or "my daughter so-and-so."
Is slaughtering a charity sheep for the sick permissible?
There is no harm if the sick person slaughters a sheep or other animal hoping for Allah’s healing from the illness, as charity is a cause of healing.
See the answer to question number (107549), where we mentioned the fatwa of the Permanent Committee for Islamic Research and Fatwa and Sheikh Abdullah bin Jibreen regarding this.
Charity is one of the greatest causes of healing and lifting calamities. The best is what matches a pressing need and is done with a sincere intention, such as: providing water, feeding the hungry, ongoing charity, sponsoring orphans, and donating for the treatment of needy patients.
It is recommended to give it secretly, with donations through appropriate channels.
