Concentration and solubility - Extract ratio 10:1 contains 10 times the active compound found in the original dried herb. It is recommended to use at a concentration between 2 and 5%. It is soluble in water, alcohol, and glycerin but insoluble in oil. How to use - Prepare your oil and water phases separately from your formulation. Heat the oil and water using a double boiler. Add our licorice extract to the aqueous phase, with continuous stirring. Mix the two phases together using a small blender or a large mixing brush. Shelf life of 6 months
