Methosulfate Behentrimonium / Cetearyl Alcohol / 1,3-Butylene Glycol or BTMS 50 is a plant-based moisturizing emulsion. It gives methosulfate behentrimonium a silky texture to lotion and hair care products. Products containing methosulfate behentrimonium are characterized by a light and airy appearance. It also has a light scent that gradually fades. It contains 50% active ingredients, which are methosulfate behentrimonium, usage rate 1-15% of the total product; approximately 25% of the oil phase for emulsification. [Usage level: creams: 10-15%, lotions: 1-8%, hair care: 1-8%] Approximate melting point 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) pH 5-7 (2% solution)
