Sepiwhite™ MSH is an excellent skin brightening and illuminating agent, suitable for all skin types and races, and enhances a uniform and radiant skin tone with results appearing within just seven days. Studies have shown an increase in skin radiance and a decrease in the number and color of pigmented spots, and it can be combined with other active ingredients, such as niacinamide or alpha hydroxy acids. Sepiwhite™ MSH is a fundamental amino acid or a converted essential amino acid developed from phenylalanine, an amino acid involved in melanin synthesis. MSH is an activator of alpha melanocyte-stimulating hormone receptors (MSH) developed from this amino acid that inhibits the melanin synthesis process from the area used at 0.2% with another brightening agent, or up to 2% in hot water or the hot oil phase of the formulation at more than 60 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit). In a product with a pH of 5 or less, it can be incorporated into any type of formulations. In a product with a pH above 5 but below 6.2, it can be incorporated using up to 20% ethanol. Not the ideal pH range for this ingredient. In a product with a pH of 6.2 or higher, it can be incorporated into any type of formulations. Compatibility and stability 2% solubility: soluble in water at pH 7, insoluble in water. Compatible with water. Soluble in alcohol and oil. pH (1% solution in water): 4.0 Expiry: 2028/1
