The illuminated knowledge of the year published in the belief of the saved and victorious sect. Mashallah, Sheikh Hafiz Ahmed Hakim. Introduction to the concerned. The statement of morals virtues - and although it is of utmost importance (1) - is sufficient in purifying hearts and walking on the path that the All-Knowing, the All-Wise desires. And this is a severe deficiency that must be noticed by the callers to Islam, and they should correct their الدعوة path; following and guided by the guidance of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his righteous companions and the righteous predecessors of the nation. Oh Allah, if they want the light to return, and goodness, happiness, and blessings to prevail. And what has preceded from words about the importance of Tawhid, and clarifying the guided prophetic methodology in calling to Allah, is what we see as the blessed summary in this precious book in your hands - my beloveds; For its author, Allah Almighty, mercy extended to him, and admitted him into His vast gardens, the Glorious - may Allah have mercy on him and grant him His satisfaction and blessings -; worked to clarify the origin of the foundations of الدعوة to Allah, embodied in that great blessing and immense gift, Tawhid of Allah. And he adopted in explaining this blessed foundation the method of question and answer, which is a guided prophetic approach. Our beloved and the apple of our eyes, صلى الله عليه وسلم, used to pose questions to his companions to attract their attention, draw their hearts, and test what they have before giving the answer. And by Allah, the companions rejoiced greatly with such questions because humans are always eager for knowledge and learning; for knowledge is the noblest badge and the greatest fortress by which the servant is protected from Satan’s deception and persistent cunning, which seeks to draw him away from the path of success and happiness. Thus, the author, may Allah have mercy on him, followed this blessed approach in his book, presenting it smoothly and beautifully organized. It was truly among the most beautiful and noble writings of the modern era in this blessed chapter - the chapter of Tawhid. And due to the preciousness of this book and its blessed value among scholars, I saw it appropriate to prepare it with some service - which I know well does not do justice to its status -; to present it to my fellow دعوت scholars as a means of cooperation in righteousness and piety, so they may work on explaining and spreading it, and gifting it to their fellow believers across the East and West of the earth. Striving to revive the prophetic methods of الدعوة to the Tawhid of the Lord of all worlds in times when fitan (trials) are many and all kinds of shirk (associating others with Allah) are widespread, except among those whom Allah, the Lord of the worlds, has mercy upon. And my humble effort in this noble book is limited to the following: 1 - Reading the book carefully. 2 - I have formatted the text with moderate diacritics to help my brothers in reading smoothly without stumbling; although, as previously mentioned, the book's expressions are close to accessible and far from complexity. 3 - I have moderately authenticated the prophetic hadiths, as is my custom, without neglecting brevity or prolongation. 4 - I clarified ambiguous meanings in the book, which are not many. 5 - I have included a translation of the author, may Allah have mercy on him, derived from the translation of his blessed son - may Allah preserve him and guide his steps -; to introduce this علم, which was one of the signs of Allah in his time, who died at the age of less than thirty-five, despite his blessed writings and widespread fame among his contemporaries. Thus, these are the most important aspects of my work, asking Allah to open the hearts of believers to this edition, grant it - and my other works - acceptance, and make it a cause for His satisfaction with me, expiation of my sins, and to make us and you among the people of pure Tawhid; those who purified their hearts and lives from shirk, small and large, so that His blessings, mercy, and رضوان (pleasure) may descend upon us in this world and the Hereafter. And whatever good and correctness are in this work are from the generosity, grace, and mercy of the Most Merciful of the merciful. And whatever contradicts this is from my own shortcomings, and it is not strange in the condition of imperfect humans. Our last supplication is praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds, and may Allah's peace and blessings be upon our beloved and leader Muhammad, and upon his family, companions, and followers until the Day of Judgment. Written by Abu Shuayb Tariq bin Abdul Wahid bin Ali.
