Product description

Note: The weight of the coffee beans is 250 grams, and the weight of the beans with the box is 350 grams. This coffee was carefully cultivated by "Filipe Arisela" on his farm in the Maracay region of Colombia. It was subjected to a dry anaerobic fermentation process that lasted up to 72 hours while maintaining the sticky mucilaginous layer surrounding the coffee beans. During this important process, dried coconut was added. Afterwards, the mucilage was removed, and the harvest was placed on raised drying beds to achieve the best possible moisture level. The harvest belongs to the pure "Castillo" variety, a strain that required significant effort and time for growth and development by the "National Coffee Growers Federation" in Colombia. It is distinguished by being more productive compared to the "Caturra" variety and resistant to diseases such as coffee leaf rust, which is one of the most dangerous diseases threatening the coffee industry worldwide. This coffee emits clear and distinctive hints: a touch of coconut, chocolate sweetness, with a refreshing hint of vanilla, making it resemble a melting piece of bonbon chocolate with every sip. • Elevation: grown at an altitude between 1450 and 1500 meters above sea level • Location: the farm is located in Armenia, Quindío, in the Maracay region of Colombia • Soil: characterized by its rich volcanic properties • Variety: Castillo • Hints: coconut, chocolate, vanilla
