The book contains selections of literary works, and what those works included of speeches, poems, comments, and letters. It also reviews speeches of some prominent eloquent speakers and their rhetoric and oratory. This book contributed to establishing the initial scientific foundations of Arabic rhetoric and the philosophy of language.
