A crack in a silent wall

Our desperate attempts to remain pure as those spirits used to be, without any flaw in our humanity, is a difficult matter. We have always been like that, the wall remains fixed in its place, unshaken; until the tongues of passersby and the hands of the wandering struck it. The words thrown and the repeated blows caused a huge crack in it, until someone broke it completely, leaving everything around it debris piled up; that crack was nothing but my heart! Rising from the ruins of pain is another victory, and I have always believed in myself that I am a free woman who is not stopped or brought back by anything.
