Why Fexofenadine is used

Fexofenadine is used to relieve allergy symptoms such as rash, itching, redness, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes.

Do not take Fexofenadine

• If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this drug.

Warnings and Precautions

Tell your doctor about all your health conditions, including:

• If you have phenylketonuria (PKU).

• If you have kidney disease.

• If you are 65 years of age or older.

This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid driving or doing other tasks or activities that require alertness until you notice how this medication affects you.

Possible Side Effects

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is not known.

Common side effects:

• Headache

• Feeling sleepy

• Nausea

• Tiredness

Other medications and fexofenadine

• Tell your doctor about all the medications you take.

• Antacids that contain magnesium or aluminum may affect how well fexofenadine works. Take them 2 hours apart.

How to take fexofenadine

• Take this medication as directed by your doctor.

• Do not take this medication with fruit juice.

• One 60 mg tablet every 12 hours or one 120 mg tablet once daily.

How to store fexofenadine

• Store at room temperature 68 to 77 degrees F (20 to 25 degrees C).

• Keep this medication out of reach of children.

Do not use this medication after the expiration date that is stated on the package.
