Indications for use of Selecta 2.5 mg tablets

• High blood pressure: High blood pressure is a common condition in which the long-term force of blood against the walls of the arteries is high enough to eventually cause health problems, such as heart disease.
• Heart failure: This occurs when the heart muscle becomes weak and unable to pump enough blood to meet the body's needs.

How to take Selecta 2.5 mg tablets

• Treatment with bisoprolol fumarate tablets should be started at a low dose and increased gradually.
• Your doctor will decide how to increase the dose, and this is usually done in the following way:
• 1.25 mg bisoprolol fumarate once daily for 1 week
• 2.5 mg bisoprolol fumarate once daily for 1 week
• 3.75 mg bisoprolol fumarate once daily for 1 week
• 5 mg bisoprolol fumarate once daily for four weeks
• 7.5 mg bisoprolol fumarate once daily for four weeks
• 10 mg bisoprolol fumarate once daily for maintenance therapy
• Doses may change under certain circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital immediately.
• If you miss a dose, take the next dose as usual.
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a missed dose.
