Why is Diclofenac Potassium used:

Diclofenac Potassium is used to treat:

Inflammation of the joints and bones such as rheumatoid arthritis, acute gout and ankylosing spondylitis.

Back pain.

Muscle strains, sprains, sports injuries and fractures.

Tendon conditions such as tendinitis.

Headaches and migraines.

Mild pain.

Do not take Diclofenac Potassium:

If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

If you are allergic to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs including acetylsalicylic acid.

If you have or have had a stomach ulcer or peptic ulcer, or bleeding in the digestive tract.

If you have had stomach or intestinal problems after taking other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

If you have severe liver or kidney disease.

If you have serious heart problems.

If you have had a stroke, heart attack or blood vessel problems.

If you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.

Warnings and Precautions:

Tell your doctor about all of your health conditions, including:

If you have any stomach or intestinal disorders including ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease.

If you have kidney or liver problems.

If you have a condition called porphyria.

If you have any blood disorder or bleed easily.

If you have high blood pressure.

If you have angina, blood clots, or high cholesterol levels.

If you have heart problems.

If you have diabetes.

If you smoke.

If you have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

This medication may increase your risk of heart and blood vessel problems.

Possible Side Effects:

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical attention if you develop a rash; itching; red, blistered, or peeling skin; tightness in the chest or throat; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; Unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency with which these side effects occur is not known.
