The background of the perfume The original version of this perfume was launched in 1882 by the French house Houbigant, designed by perfumers Paul Parquet. Fragrantica and Fragrantica and it is considered one of the first perfumes known specifically as "Fougere" and thus laid the foundation for the Fougere family of perfumes that rely on a blend of lavender, green moss (moss), and tonka or coumarin. Fragrantica and a recent renewed version (like the 2010 edition) was released, signed by perfumers Rodrigo Flores‑Roux to reinterpret this classic to suit the era.
