Folitrobin Alpha / Lutronrobin Alpha formulation is used to help women conceive. Do not take Folitrobin Alpha / Lutronrobin Alpha • if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medication. • if the ovaries have stopped producing eggs (primary ovarian failure). • if you have thyroid or adrenal gland diseases. • if you have cancer in the reproductive organs (ovaries, breasts, uterus). • if you have a tumor in the brain or pituitary gland. • if you have abnormal vaginal bleeding. • if you have ovarian enlargement or ovarian cysts. • if you are pregnant. Precautions and warnings • inform your doctor about all your health conditions, including if you or any family member has porphyria (inability to break down porphyrins, which may be inherited from parents to children). • this medication may increase the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, which can lead to serious problems. • this medication may increase the chances of pregnancy with more than one fetus. • miscarriage may occur when using this medication for pregnancy. • ectopic pregnancy may occur with the use of this medication. • if you have blood clotting problems or blood clots, or have had them before, or if family members have these issues, this medication may increase the risk of occurrence.
