Its mechanism of action is to reduce swelling or irritation of the airways. It is known as Flixotide Evohaler. This medication should be used regularly to achieve its effectiveness as intended. Indications: Flixotide spray is used to control or prevent symptoms of (wheezing – shortness of breath) caused by asthma, in addition to chronic lung diseases such as (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease – COPD – Chronic Bronchitis – Emphysema). Precautions and instructions when using Flixotide Evohaler: - Shake the inhaler for 5 seconds before use. - This inhaler is inhaled through the mouth and medical instructions should be followed carefully during use. - If using more than one inhaler alongside Flixotide at the same time, wait at least one minute as a time gap between each inhalation, and it is preferable to make Flixotide the last inhaler. - Gargle and rinse the mouth with water after using the inhaler to avoid yeast infections or irritation in the throat or mouth, and be careful not to swallow the rinse water. - The Flixotide Evohaler should be cleaned once a week using a dry cloth. - It may take a week for the inhaler to show effects; if no improvement occurs during this period, consult a doctor.
