Do not take Vibuxostat: if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other component of this medicine. if you are currently being treated with azathioprine or mercaptopurine. Warnings and precautions: Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions before taking this medicine, including: if you have liver or kidney problems. if you have heart problems or a history of heart disease or stroke. if you are being treated for cancer or if you have a condition called Lesch-Nyhan syndrome. Gout attacks may increase at the beginning of treatment. Do not stop taking this medicine. People with heart disease who take this medicine may have a higher rate of heart-related death. Liver problems have been reported with the use of this medicine. Possible side effects: Stop using this product and seek medical help immediately if you experience a rash; chills; itching; red, swollen, or peeling skin; wheezing; chest or throat tightness; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. How to take Vibuxostat: This medicine is intended for adults over 18 years only. Take it as prescribed by your doctor. The usual recommended dose is 40 mg once daily. Your doctor may increase it to 80 mg once daily if the target is not achieved. The dose can be increased to 120 mg once daily if your doctor considers it appropriate.
