Wash your hands. When opening the bottle for the first time, tear the plastic safety strip. Remove the bottle cap. Tilt your head slightly back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a pocket. Keep the bottle above your eye with its tip facing downward. Look upward and away from the bottle, then press the container to release a drop. Keep the lower eyelid down and close your eyes for two minutes or as long as possible, especially in infants and children (for example, 3-5 minutes). If you miss a drop, repeat the steps. Wipe any excess drops from your cheeks. Repeat the same steps after opening the bottle for the other eye if needed. Apply eye drops at least 5 minutes apart. Use the medication at the same time each day. Do not stop using your medications without consulting your doctor. Do not use eye drops if the seal on the neck of the bottle is broken when first using it. Avoid touching the tip of the eye drop with the eye or other surfaces to prevent bacterial contamination that could lead to eye infection and serious eye damage. Contact your doctor if you suspect your eye drop is contaminated.
How to store Tobramycin: Discard the medication after 28 days of opening, even if not empty. Keep the medication out of reach of children and pets. Store the medication at 2 - 25°C. Do not use the medication after the expiration date printed on the package. Keep the medication away from light. Do not dispose of the medication in wastewater or household waste.
