Do not use fusidic acid: if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any other components of this medication. Precautions and warnings: be cautious when using this medication near your eyes. Do not use for a long period. A second infection may occur. Possible side effects when using Fucidin fusidic acid ointment: stop using this product and seek immediate medical care if you experience rash; itching; red or ulcerated or peeling skin; chest or throat tightness; difficulty breathing, swallowing, or speaking; unusual hoarseness or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat. The frequency of these side effects is unknown. Side effects include: mild skin irritation, rash, eczema. Other medications and fusidic acid: inform your doctor about all the medications you are taking. How to take fusidic acid: for external use only. Use this medication as directed by your doctor. Wash your hands before use. Apply 2-3 times daily. How to store fusidic acid: store at room temperature between 68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 25 degrees Celsius). Keep this medicine out of reach of children.
