Product description
Product name Voltaren Emulgel - 50 g
Scientific name Diclofenac 1% gel
Voltaren Emulgel belongs to analgesics, antipyretics, and anti-inflammatory drugs.
How diclofenac works: Diclofenac belongs to a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that work by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase enzymes COX-1 and COX-2, thus inhibiting prostaglandin formation. It may also prevent the aggregation/activation of neutrophil cells, inhibit the movement of inflammatory cells, reduce the level of cytokines that cause inflammation, and alter lymphocyte activity.
