Nifuroxazide is a broad-spectrum intestinal disinfectant for the treatment of diarrhea and gastritis and enteritis, ensuring rapid clinical response and helping to reduce dehydration effects. It is considered one of the intestinal disinfectants free of systemic side effects, does not develop plasmid resistance, but has a significant effect against bacteria that resist antibiotics. Nifuroxazide is a highly tolerable and safe medication at the same time and is not affected by the acidic pH of the stomach or the type of food. Usage instructions: Nifuroxazide is used in the following cases: acute and chronic diarrhea, gastritis and enteritis, acute and chronic colitis, intestinal disinfectant for all types of diarrhea, and other intestinal infections, traveler's diarrhea. What are the doses of Nifuroxazide and methods of use? Recommended dose: Adults: one capsule 4 times daily. Children: from two months to one year: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times daily. More than one year: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 4 times daily. Elderly: one capsule 4 times daily.
