Why use Adapalene (Differin Cream): Used on the face, chest, or back to treat acne, where the skin may contain many blackheads, spots, and pimples. Do not use Adapalene (Differin Cream): If you are pregnant If you are planning to become pregnant If you have an allergy to Adapalene or any other ingredients of this medication. Precautions and warnings for using Differin Cream: Do not use this medication on areas with wounds or scratches or on skin affected by sunburn or if you have a skin condition called eczema. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or nostrils, and avoid other sensitive areas of the body. Avoid exposure to strong sunlight and artificial ultraviolet rays. If you experience allergy or irritation when using this medication, stop using it and inform your doctor. Possible side effects: General: Up to 1 in 10 people may experience dry skin, skin irritation, burning sensation, or redness (erythema). Other medications and Adapalene (Differin Cream): Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are currently taking or have recently taken any other medications. Other acne products (containing benzoyl peroxide, erythromycin, or clindamycin) can be used with Adapalene but should be used in the morning, and Adapalene at night. Cosmetics can be used but should not cause blackheads or dry the skin. How to use Adapalene (Differin Cream): Used only in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. This medication is for external use only. Use Adapalene at night before going to bed. Wash the areas to be treated thoroughly with water. Ensure the skin is clean and dry before applying this medication. Apply a thin layer of ointment with your fingertips to the affected areas and gently rub in. Do not forget to wash your hands afterward. The duration of use depends on how quickly your acne improves. How to store Adapalene (Differin Cream): Keep this medication out of reach of children. Do not use this medication after the expiration date printed on the tube and box. The expiration date indicates the last day of that month. Keep the medication in its original packaging.
