When used according to the instructions, it dries to form a transparent protective layer. Water-resistant. Scaroseal Gel protects scars from exposure to chemicals and microbes, allowing the wound to heal naturally without leaving visible scars. Scaroseal Gel reduces itching and discomfort caused by scars, as well as decreases redness and color variation associated with scars. The types of scars that can be treated with Scaroseal Gel are those resulting from: general surgical wounds, chronic wounds, burns, acne, and other skin conditions. Scaroseal Gel can be used for all patients, including children and those with sensitive skin. Ingredients: Dimethicone, Dimethiconol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cetearyl Dimethicone.
