Product description

Product name Gaseek 40 mg, reduces stomach acidity, and relieves symptoms of heartburn - 28 capsules Generic name Omeprazole 40 mg capsule Gaseek 40 mg capsule belongs to antacids and heartburn medications How Omeprazole works The secretion of hydrochloric acid (HCl) in the stomach cavity is primarily regulated by H (+) / K (+) - ATPase, known as the proton pump, which is found in large amounts in the gastric parietal cells. The proton pump inhibitor works by irreversibly blocking the hydrogen / potassium enzyme system, which suppresses stomach acid secretion. Omeprazole is part of a class called "proton pump inhibitors." Medical uses of Gaseek 40 mg capsule Duodenal ulcer (ulcer forming in the beginning of the small intestine) Helicobacter pylori infection (the bacteria that can live in your intestines and cause ulcers) To prevent recurrence of duodenal ulcers Benign gastric ulcers (non-cancerous ulcers forming in your stomach and increasing stomach acid secretion) Ulcers associated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (ulcers forming in your intestines due to excessive use of anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving drugs) Gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux also known as "heartburn"): acid reflux from the stomach to the esophagus ("food pipe") which may become inflamed and painful, and may cause symptoms such as chest pain reaching the throat and a sour taste in the mouth Erosive esophagitis (acidic irritation damaging the esophageal tissue): inflammation that can damage the tissue of the esophagus, the muscular tube that transports food from your mouth to your stomach, and can cause esophagitis, pain, difficulty swallowing, and chest pain. It is recommended to take the capsules in the morning. You can take the capsules with food or on an empty stomach. Swallow the capsules whole with half a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the capsules because they contain coated beads that prevent the medication from being broken down by the acid in your stomach. It is important not to damage the beads. Helpful tips to relieve heartburn and acid reflux Patients with gastroesophageal reflux are advised to lose weight and get rid of excess obesity, as studies have shown that excess weight causes reflux and bloating. Avoid eating foods that cause reflux and gastritis, including: Fatty foods high in fats and oils, spicy foods with spices, citrus fruits like lemon, orange, and tomatoes, mint, chocolate, onions. Stay away from carbonated drinks, coffee, or any caffeinated beverages. Do not take any medications without your doctor’s supervision, as some side effects of drugs can affect stomach health and cause reflux and digestive ulcers. Quit smoking or avoid places with smokers, as some studies have shown that nicotine in cigarettes relaxes muscles and causes pain and reflux in the esophagus. Wearing loose clothing is one of the important precautions recommended for patients with reflux to prevent pain and severe inflammation. Follow a healthy diet containing vitamins and essential nutrients for body health, including vegetables and fruits. Divide daily meals into five small portions to prevent bloating and reflux, and to help avoid obesity and fat accumulation. You can use the Helicy Check device to test for stomach bacteria at home.
