Precautions and warnings Talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse before taking Desloratadine: • If you have kidney impairment • If you have a medical or family history of seizures Possible side effects Stop using the product and seek immediate medical care if you experience difficulty in swallowing or swelling of the eyes, face, lips, or tongue, or if you feel faint or have difficulty breathing. Stop using the product if you experience hives or itching on the face or body. Other medicines and Desloratadine There are no known interactions of Desloratadine with other medicines. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines. How to use Desloratadine Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above: The recommended dose is one tablet once daily with water, with or without food. This medicine is for oral use. Swallow the tablet whole. How to store Desloratadine Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiration date printed on the carton and blister pack after EXP. The expiration date refers to the last day of that month. This medicine does not require any special storage conditions. Do not use this medicine if you notice any changes in the appearance of the tablets. Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater or household waste.
