Local thyme is an aromatic perennial herb from the mint family, of the thyme genus, from the Lamiaceae family. Its stems are thin woody, reaching up to 30 cm in height. Its leaves are thin, green, about 1 cm long, containing aromatic oil glands, and it has flowers at the top of the stem. It is considered suitable for home cultivation in pots because it is a flowering aromatic plant with health benefits.
What is the shape of the local thyme flower: Its flowers are white with a pinkish hue, and they usually bloom during moderate weather conditions.
