As the largest coffee producer in the world, Brazilian beans often come from the larger estates that use highly automated processing strategies to manage the largest volumes. The Mogiana region, divided between the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, is the most famous among the three main Brazilian cultivation regions. This area has rolling hills and uneven terrain that lend to small to medium-sized farms. This particular batch comes from a cooperative system where producers usually have farms averaging 60 acres. Our current offering is graded as Fine Cup (FC) and Strictly Soft (SS), the highest cup category in Brazil.
