The book "Mecca and its External Relations in the Period (from 301 to 487 AH)" is one of the important books that cover this time period. The author, Professor Dr. Ahmed bin Omar Al-Zilai, in this book, addressed the types of external relations of Mecca during the studied period. The book was divided into three types of relations based on the political and commercial activity of any civil society. And the most prominent of what he discussed during this study was what distinguished Mecca, may Allah honor it, with the presence of the Sacred Mosque and the Holy Sites. Therefore, these three relations were the most prominent topics the author addressed, and he was successful in doing so. Based on this, our institution has sought to reprint this book after the first edition, which was published in 1401-1981 AD, as part of our participation in an important celebration that resulted from the Islamic storm and the Muslim's Qibla. This celebration is the selection of Mecca as the Capital of Islamic Culture.
