Product description

This book contains a strange and remarkable story of an English man named William Richard Williams (Hajj Abdullah Fadl Al-Muslimani) who was swept by fate east and west, and whose adventures and dangers were passed down until he studied Islam and accepted it as his religion, pronouncing the Shahada and settling in the southern Arabian Peninsula. This story reveals the depth of faith, authenticity, and generosity of the people of the Arabian Peninsula in general and the Gulf in particular, which motivated and inspired this young British man to leave his homeland England to live a life of authenticity and simplicity, and to choose to become an Arab Muslim with his mind, soul, faith, language, and the most detailed aspects of his life. Perhaps the reader of this biography will see it truly deserving to be a story for a novel or a film, even though many events of "Hajji Abdullah's" life were not documented and were lost from memory, until the British novelist Stanton Hope collected them.
