Product description
This book contains within its pages poems written in a language that appears, in terms of vocabulary and structures, to be contemporary but rich with usages and terminology that were not common during the author's lifetime, such as the term "Arab Gulf," which was not widely used before the Egyptian coup in 1371 AH. The material included in the book originally consists of a limited number of biographies, fewer of which are well-known and most of which are obscure or perhaps unheard of by anyone. Yet, it discusses the merits of both the famous and the unknown equally, and each biography is accompanied by poetry attributed to and ascribed to the individual! Just as every event leaves its mark, and every forgery leaves its evidence, so too do all the poems and verses attributed to each of those individuals seem to come from a single source, with identical words, a unified poetic vocabulary. In front of this book, filled with errors, claims, and inaccuracies, we saw it appropriate, for the benefit of researchers and the protection of thought, to comment on the errors in this published book, and to clarify with evidence the falsehood of what its author claimed regarding historical and social issues. The second part of this fabricated book about Shuaib Al-Dosari is accompanied by a scientific study of its alleged sources, the motives behind its authorship, and the main evidence indicating its divergence from authentic accounts, along with an explanation of the methods used by the author to achieve his goals, and an assessment of the scrutinizing researchers' stance towards it. Alongside this study, the book was divided into two sections: the first section includes the main text of the book with commentary, refuting the claims and errors contained therein; the second section contains the footnotes of the book accompanied by responses to them.
