Product description
Nasir Al-Mankour was one of the most important men who contributed to establishing the foundations of administrative, political, and diplomatic work in Saudi Arabia, during a forty-year journey, in which determination never waned nor weakened. He worked as a general manager, then as a minister, and as an ambassador extraordinary, and in all his states and changing circumstances, he remained the loyal, great man who was not changed by positions or titles, nor did his brilliance and presence diminish, which was dominant in the hearts of his lovers and those who knew his virtue, before and after. With his infinite humanity, aware mind, and sensitive moral sense, he was elevated above the vices and pleasures of the world. He loved people and dealt with them with kindness and goodness, serving his country and its citizens — as service and sacrifice should be — with honor and integrity, capturing people's hearts, so they loved him and reciprocated loyalty. He was humble in his life, a model to be emulated in patience, forbearance, and prudence, as he was in his generosity and chivalry. As for his denial of himself and the efforts and achievements he made for his country and its people, he refused to speak about them, for that is a virtue of nobility and loyalty, rarely found in others who have held positions less than his. Despite his high status, he was in his life easygoing and gentle, giving without taking, not burdening others nor making things difficult for them, greeting them warmly and bidding farewell with a smile. And so it was in his death, when he wished to be buried wherever he died, to spare his friends and loved ones the hardship and trouble. That was how he was, and this is his biography.
