Product description

Khaled comes from a poor family. His father died when he was still young, leaving him with a sick mother and young sisters... and a large debt he cannot pay. Doors to work closed in his face, and life's harsh conditions pressed down on him: he is bedridden, and his young hungry brothers are "stripped" of their flesh to feed them, and elderly creditors are bargaining with him to "buy" his brothers to settle their debt. An extremist movement tries to lure him and "entice" him with money to join them: he is torn between life and death. Should he surrender to his harsh circumstances and join them? Should he participate in murders and bombings? This novel touches on a dangerous and sensitive phenomenon: terrorism, and it tries to explore the reasons that drive a young man at the beginning of his life to become a terrorist and a killer, why he does that, and whether he "chooses" voluntarily to kill himself as a form of suicide. And who is responsible for his suicide: extremist movements, or society, or poverty and deprivation and lack of job opportunities, or himself because he accepted to be a victim of these factors combined?
