Acknowledgement:

I understand that carpentry tools and equipment are dangerous if not used in a safe and proper manner. I pledge to advise my son/daughter to follow the instructions and safety regulations in the carpentry shop and to protect Civilization Lab property in the manufacturing area. I confirm that my son does not suffer from hyperactivity that poses a risk or that he/she loves using tools that are dangerous to himself/herself or his/her friends, and that he/she is not addicted to video games that encourage violence in a way that affects his/her behavior. I know that some minor accidents may occur, and that they will be very minor, if my son follows all safety regulations. The lab staff informed me that they will handle accidents using proper first aid methods. I enrolled my son in the Civilization Lab based on mutual trust, and I am confident that the program organizers will be extremely careful and firm in dangerous situations. They have prepared the programs to the highest scientific standards, and have selected the types of carpentry tools appropriate for the ages and sizes of the children, based on the rules of children's carpentry programs followed around the world. They have also trained the children on these tools before the program begins with experienced carpenters.

I acknowledge that the Civilization Lab reserves the right to cancel my son/daughter's enrollment and deduct the costs associated with such cancellation if the child poses a risk to other members or if the child fails to comply with the above.
