There is no overcoming fanaticism, whenever it becomes strong in a place, it can only be defeated by war. As for individual fanatics, whether they are fanatic about religion, race, or a cause, it is unlikely that the world will be free of them. For fanaticism is a disease, a severe one, from the diseases that afflict the human soul, and since it is so, its treatment and cure are not easy matters.
