Product description

The novel "366" by the Sudanese writer Amir Taj Al-Sir is like a message written by the protagonist to his beloved Asmaa, whom he fell in love with at first sight without seeing her, one day of a leap year. He writes to her describing how her love took hold of his entire being, to the point that he searches for her among pictures of that day, in the streets, the neighborhood, and in his relationships with people and women. The hero narrates the moments of searching for Asmaa, and how he strives to reach her by various means, including relying on his sense of guessing, which provided him with virtual images of his beloved and her place of residence. In addition to being a love letter to Asmaa, "366" is also the biography of the hero, depicting his relationships with lively characters and neighbors, his teaching career as a chemistry teacher, his relationships with colleagues there, as well as his involvement in some political issues, and ultimately his withdrawal from daily life to dedicate himself to searching for Asmaa.
