Brief history of Basra

This book summarizes the history of the city of Basra from its founding as a military site during the reign of Caliph Omar ibn Al-Khattab until the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the entry of the British army into Basra, which experienced periods of prosperity that no other city has experienced, and at the same time several wars and collapses.
