For every action, an equal and opposite reaction. What about our reactions to our feelings? Do Newton's laws apply to them? Does every feeling come from deep within us... a matching feeling that returns with the same glow, overwhelming us? Or an opposite feeling?! Breaks us... shatters our souls? The writer divided it into 3 sections: Dispersal in the midst of life... written in a style of venting, "We disappear from ourselves... and the soul longs without a body" Lost scraps... which were mostly of a judgmental nature, "Perhaps a dream in our sleep is better than a thousand realities" With God's eyes... filled with supplications, humility, and devotion to Allah, the Almighty, "He knows what the hearts conceal... from pains that gnaw at our souls" To Allah alone... we pour out our complaints.
