Cinema people

The idea of this book was born in front of an elevator one winter afternoon in 1995. I was then heading to the Supreme Press Council library, which is located on the tenth floor of the specialized national councils building, next to the National Party building. When the elevator door opened, I found in front of me the two gentlemen, Salah Abu Sief and Kamel Sheikh, with their great stature. I stood looking at them frozen in place with a foolish smile on my face, due to both of them smiling at my stiff stance in their way. Salah Abu Sief jokingly asked if I intended to allow them to leave the elevator, so I was confused and made way for them. I entered the elevator, and after a moment, I began to blame myself for not greeting them and for not taking the opportunity to express my admiration and love for them.
