The Emperor of Japan, Hirohito Yohara, was asked about the reason for Japan's development and growth in a short period after World War II, and after the destruction of two large cities and the loss of a huge number of citizens. He replied: "We made the book a friend instead of a weapon, and we made science and ethics our strength, and we gave the teacher the salary of a minister, and the diplomat's salary, and the majesty of the emperor."
