Identity marks

After David Le Breton clarified that "the body bearing marks" had, since ancient times and among traditional societies, been an expression of a path, and of a message, and especially, an expression of identity, showing how the church strongly opposed this practice, but also how the judicial system, after sailors and soldiers, viewed it as a "mark of shame."
