Cauliflower is a plant rich in sulfur compounds, consisting of short flowering parts surrounded by green leaves and carried on large fleshy stalks. The color of the flower head is bright white.

Cauliflower is widely used on Arab tables and cooked in various ways.
It has health benefits as cauliflower is one of the vegetables most containing phosphorus, which makes it a strengthener of the body because phosphorus is one of its most important compounds.
Original homeland:
Mediterranean region, and its cultivation spreads in Arab countries.
Suitable climatic conditions and soil for cultivation:
Cauliflower needs a moderate temperature climate, leaning towards coolness somewhat in the latter half of the growing season. It requires about 25°C at the beginning of its life and 10°C – 18°C when forming the flower heads.
Cultivation method:
Cauliflower is cultivated in permanent land either by seeds sown later or by direct transplantation of seedlings. When planting seeds, they are sown in nurseries in beds measuring 1 × 2 meters, scattering the seeds in the beds, then transplanted to the field after 45-60 days. It is ready for harvest after about 4-6 months from planting.
