Blake’s Tyger embodies both qualities I wanted to portray: elegance and irresistibly attractive from one side and terrible and frightening from the other side. The "fearful symmetry" — the character attributed to the tiger — appropriately represents this opposition of beauty and horror. The perfume was built around an agreement of intoxicating white flowers with sweet aspects, which also include a note of musk rum — like Prima Donna, the protagonist of a dramatic piece, it is the best example of a refined civilization of a past world; unlike that, the core ingredients offer a different kind of woods, with some burnt and leathery qualities, hinting at a post-apocalyptic scenario of destruction, mystery, and darkness. The result of these parts — which do not work individually — is a sparkling and luminous perfume that gives me an exciting feeling of very dramatic evolution — a kind of contradictory emotion that anything attractive inside me stirs.
