Kids Bathroom / Playroom Mat – Animal & Butterfly Designs | Non-Slip | 50×80 cm

Wet feet, a tiled bathroom floor and a child in a hurry are a bad combination. This 50 × 80 cm kids' mat sits between them: a soft, absorbent surface on top and a non-slip backing underneath, in four designs children actually choose for themselves — Horse, Fox, Giraffe and Butterfly.

Why it works in a child's room

• Non-slip backing — helps keep the mat securely in place instead of sliding out from under small feet.
• Soft underfoot — a gentle surface to step onto straight out of the bath or while playing on a hard floor.
• Absorbent and quick drying — takes up drips after bath time and dries out again rather than staying damp all day.
• Four designs to pick from — Horse, Fox, Giraffe and Butterfly, so the mat suits the room rather than fighting it.
• Durable and easy to clean — a practical piece for a space that sees daily use.
• Works in more than one room — kids' bathroom, playroom or bedroom, wherever the cold floor is.

What the non-slip backing does

The backing is designed to help the mat stay put on a hard floor rather than travel across it. That is the point of the feature: the most common way a bath mat turns into a hazard is the mat itself moving underfoot, and a non-slip backing is there to reduce that. It is not a substitute for supervision around water, and it does not make a wet floor safe on its own — it simply keeps the mat where you put it.

Size

One size: 50 × 80 cm — enough coverage for a bath step-out or a bedside, without taking over a small room. Item weight is 800 g.

Care

Clean as needed and allow the mat to dry fully before putting it back down. Follow the care label supplied with the mat for washing. If you do wash it, it is generally best to skip fabric softener — it coats fibres and reduces absorbency, which is exactly the property you want a bath mat to keep.
