In the presence of longing

Author: Saud Abdulaziz Al-Qusaybit Publication date: 2026 Book classification: Short story and novel Publisher: Arab Literature Center for Publishing and Distribution Number of pages: 55 Format: Paperback Summary: In the presence of Wajd is a short story and a poetry book that aimed to blend traditional methods of literary composition with the use of advanced means such as artificial intelligence. The book as a whole represents an artistic shift into a new world represented by this scientific leap. From this emerged "Wajd." It is a presence that invades texts and grants them their light. As if it were the genie that once inhabited the Valley of Ibrāq, returning in a new guise, with a mixture of ancient inspiration and modern machinery, combining the magic of beginnings with a vision of the future. So, "Wajd" is not a single woman, but all absent women, all present women, and all women of the universe. And the book "In the Presence of Wajd" with its stories and poetry is not just a narration of love, but a beautiful wandering; and a search for the meaning of woman.
