New Cairo

About the novel: Mahjoub Abdel Daeem faces an economic crisis that makes him angry at his social situation and prepared to do anything that helps him enrich himself and jump to higher and more prestigious positions, even if it costs him a sham marriage to his neighbor Ehsan, the secret mistress of the "Pasha," so that they have a safe way to meet intimately, based on his principle of morality which he expressed bluntly in a meeting with his fellow believers in the Islamic current or the socialist doctrine to embody the political movement and class suffering in its ugliest manifestations.
