Little princess

This novel gained its Arab fame from a famous Japanese anime series produced in 1985, titled in the dubbed Arabic version "Sally," but before that, cinema had already presented the novel to viewers in a film produced in 1939, which gained additional fame due to this timeless classic work, then it was re-filmed for cinema in 1995. "Little Princess" may be a fictional story or it may be a true story depending on how the reader perceives it, as she is an orphaned child subjected to hardships beyond her young age, but despite that, she deals with her circumstances in a "serious" manner similar to experienced women. To overcome her difficult conditions, she has to weave imaginary stories and befriend rats in her attic after losing everything. Sara is a small girl, but she speaks like an adult and has opinions about the world that make it seem as if she has experienced life for many years. This child wishes that girls would be her friends or that they would be like her, and mothers wish their daughters would be like her.
