The running horses

Book title: The Running Horses Author name: Yukio Mishima Number of pages: 532 pages Category: Novels Publication year: 2017 Publisher: Dar Al-Adab Brief about the content of the book: "The Running Horses" is a complete and standalone novel, but at the same time it is strongly connected to its three sister novels, "Spring Snow," "Temple of Dawn," and "The Fall of the Angels," forming together Mishima's rare masterpiece in world literature: the "Sea of Fertility" tetralogy. Honda moved forward under the waterfalls and remembered Kiyomi's words spoken to her at his deathbed: "I will see you again, I know that, under the waterfalls." Mishima was certain that his tetralogy was the culmination of everything he had learned as a writer. He pointed out to his friends that when he finished writing it, there would be only one thing left for him: "suicide" — and that indeed happened.
